Dr. Chavez has worked on the development, implementation, and management of complex data for collaborative research across multiple sites and sectors. Her work trajectory has resulted in the improvement of the reliability and content validity of several instruments, the development of a toolkit on the methodology of translation and adaptation, the development of the academic careers of minority researchers, and the publication of various articles in child and adult mental health, psychometrics and minority disparities research.
