The Center for Technological Support in Academia (CATA, by its Spanish acronym) is the unit of the Dean of Academic Affairs that specializes in the design and production of educational and promotional materials in different formats. We have the units of Graphic Arts, Circulation of Audiovisual Equipment, Photography, Television and a modern Amphitheater. With our variety of services, we make it easy for students and faculty to successfully meet their academic requirements, conference presentations, scientific forums, service practices, and health promotion activities.
Our Mission
Enrich the teaching-learning and scientific communication processes of the Medical Sciences Campus through the design and production of materials in various formats with the use of cutting-edge technology.
Our Users
We serve students, faculty, and employees of the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus as a priority. In addition, we provide services to the entire UPR system, as well as government entities and agencies, private institutions and independent producers.
