The Student’s Affairs Office is part of the Office of the Dean of the School of Health Professions (SHP) at the Medical Sciences Campus (MSC). Its mission is to promote students’ development, provide support services, and encourage student participation and enjoyment of college life.

The Student’s Affairs Office responsibilities includes;

  • Provide professional counseling services through individual and group interventions.

Services are offered through a Comprehensive Counseling Program, which has an integrated approach designed to support students in their academic, personal, social and professional development. It consists of a series of resources and activities planned and coordinated to meet the needs of all students.

  • Promotes students participating in campus activities.
  • Encourage students to engage in students’ associations.
  • Support and advice to the SHP Student Council.
  • Offers orientation of new students in coordination with other MSC services offices, where students can learn about financial aid services, registration, financial aid, medical services, and others.
  • Collaborates with the Dean of Students for the realization of activities, including the MSC graduation ceremony.
  • Coordinates recruitment activities in support of all school programs. Provides information on the admission requirements of the academic programs of the SHP.
  • Organize open houses, job fairs, academic excellence recognition for graduating students, among other activities related to the personal, academic and professional development of the student community.
